Dimensions and Colour

It measures 170.9 x 146.3 x 7.6mm and weighs 168g. The phone is available in four colors – Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender – exclusively on the official Samsung website.

Processor

When streaming videos or playing games with complex visuals, the Samsung Galaxy S23's Qualcomm SM8550-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset enhances the phone's user experience. Additionally, while using  various apps, there are no disruptions.

Additionally, this dual SIM Samsung phone is available with either 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, or 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

One can manage every aspect of the Samsung Galaxy S23, from lock screens and themes to widgets and notifications, thanks to One UI 5.1, which is based on the Android 13 operating system.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S23 has a 3900 mAh non-removable battery that supports 25W rapid charging, allowing you to play games, watch movies or TV episodes in one sitting, go to meetings, and perform other tasks without running out of power.

Audio Quality

Samsung has gradually and steadily enhanced the audio quality of its mobile devices ever since it purchased AKG. The Galaxy S23 has a stereo system with a bottom driver and an amplified earpiece, as is now standard. They typically have good audio quality, but it appears that Samsung has made some improvements. The Galaxy S23's speakers have excellent audio quality; they can be rather loud without losing balance or bass. While performing our tasks, we wouldn't mind listening to music from these.

Nevertheless, the Galaxy S23 clicks with a very nice feedback thanks to the outstanding haptics on the series' flagship models.

Connectivity

The S23 supports 5G SA/NSA/Sub6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. It also offers 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 GB to 512 GB.

Material

Recycled glass, PET film and natural dyes for colours have been used in the making of the phone. Even the phone box is made of recycled paper and paper-based protective film

Galaxy S23 OS/Android version

The Galaxy S23 will come with Android 13, which is the most recent Android release available. But as Samsung like creating its own things, therefore its Android phones have the sophisticated One UI reskin, the most recent version of which is One UI 5.1.

Easy split screen shortcuts, edge panels that you can pull in from the side for multitasking, and full connectivity with Samsung's ecosystem via SmartThings Hub are just a few of the features that Samsung's software is packed with. Not to mention DeX, which, provided you have an external monitor to operate on, can transform your phone into a mobile desktop computer.

Conclusion

If you are coming from a more outdated model, such as an S20, it appears that there will be plenty of excellent reasons to switch to a Galaxy S23. It might seem like the Galaxy S23 doesn't generate enough heat to warrant an upgrade if you have more recent smartphones, and that's roughly true. Both the Galaxy S21 and S22 remain top-notch smartphones. Which simply demonstrates the level of quality Samsung has reached at this point, where these flagship smartphones can now last and continue to feel current for a lot longer than two years. And it makes spending the $800 on them simpler, right?
